The Liebherr LH 60 C is a heavy-duty material handler designed for scrap handling, timber loading and bulk material applications. The machine is equipped with a 190 kW diesel engine, a closed swing circuit, and an Energy Recovery System (ERC), which ensures efficient work cycles and high productivity. Operating weight ranges from 52 to 66 tonnes, and the reach extends up to 20 metres, depending on the equipment. The machine has a system output of 334 kW and uses the Liebherr LSC hydraulic system with Load Independent Flow Distribution. The cab can be hydraulically height-adjusted or fixed, providing the operator with optimal visibility. The LH 60 C is built in a robust industrial configuration and is designed for long-term use under tough conditions. The hydraulic oil change interval is up to 8,000 hours, while the engine oil needs to be changed every 2,000 hours. Thanks to the closed swing circuit, components are subjected to less stress, resulting in a longer service life. This material handler is widely used in recycling, the timber industry, and scrap processing. The ERC system stores energy when lowering the boom and reuses it, which leads to shorter cycle times and reduced fuel consumption. The machine can be fitted with grapples, magnets and quick couplers. The cab is spacious and ergonomically designed, standard equipped with joystick control, a colour touchscreen and large glass surfaces for excellent visibility.
