Axles and axle parts for Liebherr excavators

Common defects in axle components
The axle is the drive system of a mobile excavator and transmits power from the engine to the wheels. Due to the force exerted on the components, parts are subject to significant wear. Eventually, the axle itself or axle components will need to be replaced. We have axles and used axle parts in stock for almost every machine.
The steering knuckle is one of the axle components that most often needs to be replaced, specifically the left steering knuckle. The left steering knuckle is used most frequently while driving, as the cab then has visibility. The right steering knuckle is used less and therefore wears less.
In addition to the steering knuckle, there are more parts that are regularly replaced. For example, couplings sometimes come loose, as do drive shafts. In addition, gear teeth can break off if the wear is too great and the load is high.
Installation of used axle parts or complete axles
For repairing the axle of your Liebherr excavator, we recommend installing a used axle part. Installing a new part in a used steering housing or differential leads to increased wear on the old components. This is because the new material is in better condition and the parts do not fit together optimally.
If replacing axle parts is not an option, we also have complete front and rear axles in stock to replace the entire axle. We assemble these based on your machine and specifications, or we will search for a suitable axle for you. With a used axle, you extend the lifespan of your Liebherr machine for a modest investment.

All used axle parts we sell are inspected inside and out. That is why we offer at least a 3-month warranty on used axles. All parts for the axles we sell are also cleaned and inspected. Therefore, we also provide a warranty for our axle parts; the warranty period varies per part and is stated with the product in our webshop.
