If you purchase a used Liebherr engine from Grovema, it is always built according to the configuration of your specific machine. We do this based on the serial number, the power, and other requirements. This way, you can be sure that the engine will fit. Can’t find a suitable engine in our webshop? We also build engines on request. In addition, we have many parts that are not offered in our webshop. Please contact us if you cannot find something.
Our Liebherr engines can be tested on our dyno test bench. During a test, the engine is subjected to increasing loads. This allows us to see whether the engine still delivers the same power as the factory specifications. We also check the oil pressure, temperature, whether the sensors are working, and how the engine runs under load. You will receive the test report with the engine. This way, you can be sure that the replacement engine will run properly in your Liebherr excavator.
Repair and overhaul of Liebherr excavator engine
Grovema also repairs and overhauls Liebherr engines. For a repair, we use our second-hand engine parts, which are always inspected and tested. Depending on your budget, we use parts in different conditions. For an overhaul, we use new parts. In both cases, we test the Liebherr engine on the dyno test bench so you are assured of a good engine. While our used engines come with a standard 1-month warranty, this increases to 6 months for an overhauled engine.
If you want to carry out a repair or overhaul on your engine yourself, you can order the necessary parts from us. We have both second-hand and aftermarket parts, as well as complete seal kits for every Liebherr excavator, based on the serial number to ensure everything fits perfectly.
Liebherr engine custom-made
Grovema builds Liebherr excavator engines on request. So if you cannot find the right engine in our webshop, we will get to work for you. We often use aftermarket parts for this. After assembly, we test the engine on our dyno test bench. You will receive the test report together with the engine. This way, you get an engine at a good price that can run for many more hours.
