Used Liebherr tires
There are two types of tires you can mount on your Liebherr excavator or wheel loader, namely solid rubber tires and pneumatic tires. Which one you choose depends on the terrain where your Liebherr machine is used. You can find both types of tires as a set with us for a fraction of the new price.
Second-hand tyres from Grovema
If you are looking for a set of tires for your Liebherr machine, a set of second-hand pneumatic or solid rubber tires is an affordable option. Our tires can still last a long time or can serve as spare tires. We also sell aftermarket Liebherr tires so you can find the right tires for every machine. All parts we sell, such as pneumatic tires, are tested before sale. This way, you are guaranteed tires in good condition.
Solid rubber tires
Solid rubber tires are made of solid rubber. The advantage of this is that they cannot get punctured. It also means that the tires are heavy and offer little suspension. As a result, they are much less mobile and comfortable. Solid rubber tires are therefore mainly used in places where sharp materials are on the ground, short distances are traveled, and the ground is paved. For example, think of waste processing plants, transshipment sites, steel factories, or demolition work.
Pneumatic tires
Pneumatic tires are lighter and offer more comfort due to the cushioning provided by the tire. This allows them to be used on public roads without any problems. However, a pneumatic tire is more vulnerable than a solid rubber tire and wears out faster. For example, a pneumatic tire can get punctured by sharp objects or collisions with objects, which takes time to repair.
Pneumatic tires are mainly mounted on machines that are used on muddy or sandy terrains. Due to the reduced weight of the tire, the excavator sinks less quickly into the soft ground. Also, if the machine needs to travel frequently on easily accessible terrain such as public roads, a pneumatic tire is the right choice.
